Colton High School is known to have a strong community, this school has students that have had their siblings, parents, and even grandparents attend this high school creating a proud recognition to attend here. The caring staff members such as the teachers and security guards seem to build a mutual connection with the students constructing a bond of security and confidence with one another. Overall I loved my high school experience and I'm excited for the students who will continue to attend there and those who will, later on, join the swarm. The school has progressed on bringing awareness to the importance of mental health by adding the Wellness Center to the campus to provide a safe space for students in which are allowed to enter and destress. Due to the aging of the school, I would like to continue seeing progress in the schools' repairments towards the buildings that'll bring a much newer look to the campus. Altogether this school has a strong bond that ties the students together

This school has a lot to work on.Some office people are rude, some security are far too aggressive, some teachers need to be reevaluated/checked, they all around are worried about the wrong things when there's more to be worried about. I will provide an example of everything in a shortened way because I have less than 1000 characters but I could go on. One of the office ladies basically mocked my mom's English, security came in yelling for one of my classmates not only disrupting class but humiliating for that classmate, a lot of the teachers are too old and just pass out packets believing that that's the way to teach, and they're more on the girls who wear "dress code" then the girls and boys smoking/ditching in the bathrooms. But I will say, there is some amazing teachers and staff for sure, they deserve more for what they have to put up with at this school. Also some ladies will talk to students in such a poor way just because they feel higher and because they know they can.
Colton High School is a good school for the most part. Most teachers are there to help you and tend to be polite and helpful. On the other hand, many of the administrators tend to be rude towards students which is a big negative regarding the school. In addition, there are not many events or opportunities hosted by the school, especially for the good of it's students. Lastly, behavior is a huge problem at Colton High as many of the students who want to learn and be successful are often disrupted by those who start trouble and resort to bad behavior.
