My experience with Colton High School, has absolutely been worth it. From meeting new friends to meeting teachers. I've grown up in this school, it made me become a better and more mature person than i was when i was in middle school. Meeting new friends was definitely a part of the wonderful experience. Although there have been rough patches throughout my 4 years, it was worth it. Along the way I had the guidance to continue through the better path. The staff was really kind to the students, they treated us with the up most respect. As well as the students, we knew that we were in good hands when they gave us advice, goals to reach, and of course the ability to motivate us each and every day!
My experience with Colton High School was pretty amazing. I was taught great independence and learned a lot of valuable lessons that I’ll cherish forever. I’ve been longtime friendships with staff and students and I’ve learned a lot over my 4 years I’ve attended. This school has made such a positive impact on my life and I’ll be so sad to leave in my last 4 months here. I’ll truly miss it. Although I was sexually harassed by another student and STILL had to be in the same class as him to this day AND he got a slap on the wrist as some may call it, it’s great. The administration and teachers are poor, but besides that, pretty great.
Colton High School is a really great school, I love Link Crew because I feel that they really help freshmen get used to high school and they really help you out. They really helped me with knowing a little more about high school and about teachers. Even though I think they should do more fun activities than just talk. I also love how they have different programs like Trio Educational Talent Search and Upward Bound, to help first generation students with school and applying to college. I joined Trio Educational Talent Search and that program has helped me a lot with learning about college.
Some things I would like to see change in would be to make the school food better. Even though there is good food, most of it tastes disgusting. The most important thing I'd like for there to be change in is in the cleanliness of the school. The school restrooms smell horrible and are very dirty. There's times I wait until I get home to use the restroom because the school restrooms are disgusting.
