This school was the best thing to ever happen to me. Apart from being able to graduate with half of my undergraduate education paid for, the teachers have been the best ones I have experienced so far. The school's culture is amazing too! There are often clubs and events for the students and there's an energy environment in every class. I have met some of the best people at this school and would do high school all over again to relive some of the best years I have had so far.
CECCS is an early college high school allowing students to earn their Associate's Degree at the same time as their high school diploma... all at $0 cost! Instead of money going to sports or a lot of extracurricular activities, it is put towards college classes and books. Our students are doing amazing things academically! They are earning industry certifications, degrees, and numerous college credits to prepare them for their future endeavors. Our students are coming out of high school ahead of the game, and their achievements are proving that each year.
Great school. Staff cares about students and they offer a great opportunity for college credit. The advisors really take time to help you plan. The counselor is also super cool and helpful. I would recommend this school!
Colorado Springs Early Colleges is a great school to go to if you want an early start to your college education. You start off by taking an accuplacer test to see what math and English class you are in. The test also determines whether you are college-ready or not. All the teachers and staff are super friendly and are there to help you. Highly recommend this school.
I got free college classes for an extra year because they let me. They speedrun your highschool credits and cram you into actual college asap, and prepare you all the way there. Teachers and faculty are all super helpful, they look to help the brightest and the underprivileged. Solid school.
The school gives many a great opportunity to learn and earn college credits while still in high school unfortunately it appears the school suffers from underfunding
This school gives such an amazing opportunity for students to attend college classes for free! You can graduate from this four-year school with an associate's degree and 60+ credits completely for free. The staff is incredibly helpful and willing to work with you to create an academic plan that will support you through your educational life. The school building is relatively small, however, so there are not that many students as compared to an average high school. There are also little to no extra-curricular classes, but that gives the students a chance to focus on their studies. Overall, this school is a great establishment.
Colorado Early Colleges Colorado Springs (CECCS) has a glorious academic system for it challenges students to succeed and excel. Although the ACUPLACER in the beginning may be intimidating, its a wonderful test to explore strengths and weaknesses in certain subjects in order for those skills to be heightened and prepped for the next step. Scoring high allows you to jump straight to a college course, while scoring low gives you time to thoroughly learn a subject before the future college courses. My only concern is that we lack diversity and make little efforts to recognize different cultures, tell correct history, and even celebrate holidays that involve POC (ex. Black History Month, Mexican Independence Day, Chinese New Year, etc.). In little effort to make POC feel included, while still making the majority feel included, our student council team annually hosts a Multi-Cultural Day, which allows students to bring in yummy dishes from different cultures, however only few participate.
CECCS had extremely understanding teachers and a wide array of classes through concurrent enrollment with PPCC.
Great school for college readiness and when I was there the fellow students were amazing, advisors loved the kids, facially actually cares, great campus.
Great place to work! The students and staff are fabulous. It is a very comfortable environment and the staff is very devoted to helping students succeed. It truly is a team from the administration to the teachers to the academic advisors and the counselors/mental health team.
The school had a good atmosphere, and the teachers were all eager to help students to the best of their abilities.
The school works hard to prepare students for college. Many of the teachers are excellent in their fields and at communication. Receiving free college in high school is a wonderful thing!
I both went to this school and I now work at this school. I'd recommend it highly for anyone that is passionate and wants to achieve their goals.
This school offers students a chance to get their high school and associates degree at once. I started there in my junior year and I have earned over half of the credits needed for an associates. It’s a small school, with a student population of 300, give or take. The teachers all love what they do, and have passion for their subjects. CSEC also allows dual enrollment to public schools allowing your student to continue their sports and extra curricular activities with the school of your choice.
I enjoy the students and staff. I also like the free college. It help make college keeper and not as long. It also make for a less stressful college experience.
The teachers here are very good and prepare you for college very well as college classes are offered on campus, as well as giving you the opportunity to take college classes at PPCC. The only negative of the school is that there are not many, sports, clubs, or any art or music at all.
