Wonderful learning opportunities, especially outdoors with fall & spring trips and the interim trip. Lots of emphasis on team building and working as a community. Very, very caring teachers. After school activities & team sports include kayaking, rock climbing, snowboarding/ skiing, mountain biking etc. There are a few traditional team sports as well. Dorm life well structured. College counseling is small groups (~4 kids) working each week with the counselors Jr year into Sr: SAT/ACT prep, application, essay etc - ultra organized to make the stressful college process much easier.

This school offers so many different opportunities and activities. We get to go on organized trips into the wild twice a year or more. You can learn how to silversmith, blacksmith, glassblow, rockclimb, snowboard, whitewater kayak, and a lot of other things. Now that i'm a senior, I am very close to being sent out into the world. But first we do senior project: a one month journey. You get to decide where you want to go as long as there is some sort of community service aspect to it. I am going to go work with Habitat for Humanity for instance, one of my friends are going to go write music and craft guitars, another is going to work on a bee farm! CRMS has been feeding me amazing opportunities since I have been a freshmen; although, it did take me a while to understand how blessed I was to be able to come to this school.
We have had a few nurses in the time that I have been here. They all vary in their abilities and kindness. Some would say that you would be faking a sickness and others would give you something for your condition and excuse you from class. Bullying isn't too prominent at our school. Sometimes I see one of my friends being mean or rude to another; although, in these cases, the person generally has done something to deserve being berrated by insults. The schools security guard is the worst means of security I have ever seen. In the school year of 2014-2015, someone had broken into the bus lot and stole gas. We now have a security guard because of it, except the extent of what this guy does is push his nose into other peoples buisness. Two of my friends were being followed onto campus by a stalker and the guard said he couldn't do anything about it because the man wasn't breaking the law. These girls had to find a faculty to scare this man off of the campus. As for drugs and alcochol, It isn't hard to get. I generally don't use substances that often; although, I have plenty of friends that smoke marijuana every day and their are parties where you could find booze that happen about every week - 2 weeks.
