My experience for Colony high school in general would be described as very well. I'm a senior right now and There is a lot of help offered in this school and many of the teachers there are super understanding to a personal level(such as dealing with real life issues that affect you at school). Most teachers there are willing to help you and answer the questions you have no matter how dumb it may seem, remember that you aren't the only one that is uncertain about things. Of course take this with a grain of salt because everyone has different teachers, strengths, and weaknesses. I've only made a handful of friends at that school but those friends are some of my greatest inspirations, and reliable people i'll ever meet.
Colony High School was a school filled with mainly white, or African-American students. The school itself was about average. It had a constant atmosphere of negativity, or resentment. The students formed cliques, but would sometimes turn from looks and glares, to outright fighting. There were teachers and students who had rivals, or enemies. Staff were removed for having relations with underage students. Less importantly, the campus was located next to a dairy, and the planters were filled with onion grass. This was just a poor school to attend.
I absolutely love Colony High School! I am a senior at Colony and the ASB President! Throughout my years, I have achieved so much due to my great teachers and the amazing staff. All staff is friendly and I love it! I also play tennis at Colony. Athletics at Colony are above average in talent and coached very well. I also participate in Titan Media, the school news broadcast. It is a great program that has taught me many communications skills. Colony High School is an exemplary high school.
