Colonial Forge is great for education. Most teachers are amazing, others are average, some make you want to drop out. The substitutes are VERY questionable at times but every school has strange substitutes. Colonial Forge, being the “good school” for whatever reason, has some really difficult college prep, aka. regular, classes for litterally no reason. Hard work will equate to at least a “B” (sometimes a “C” for classes that want to be difficult for no reason). Lunch time is litterally the worst. Students are shoved in one area that’s not big enough for all 700 (allegedly) students out there. The fact that we’re highschool students doesn’t help because sitting in the cafeteria can be equated to sitting in a gorrilla pen sometimes. Everyone’s loud and chaotic behavior can get pretty appalling. Thank God the library is available during lunch.

I had a lot of access to some great programs at Forge, and lots of opportunities for college prep, SAT practice, Dual Enrollment, and Advanced Placement. It wasn't until I graduated that I realized that we had one of the greatest college prep programs in the district, and not until college did I realize how great this program prepared me for further academics. College courses were a breeze after I graduated and I couldn't figure out why!

Great sense of school spirit, and very well managed facility. I wasn't a very social person but I had a lot of great school memories as a Drama student and a (brief) participant in sports and other extracurriculars. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone for a great public school experience.
Colonial Forge is amazing! The teachers truly care for their students, which is an attribute that is quite important. This school also offers an array of classes which caters to everyones' own needs! However, I did wish they put more money towards the Performing Arts program.
