Collegedale Adventist Middle School Reviews

While Collegedale Academy Middle School is an Adventist School, The students there do not act like it. The students act like they're better than everyone else. Some of the rules are just plain unnecessary. The teachers do nothing about bullying. If you suffer from depression or a mental illness, I do NOT recommend this school. As someone who suffers from it, it was a horrible experience. I rated it a two star because out of all the bad things in this school, I met a few amazing people and they really made CAMS enjoyable.

My time at CAMS was very joyful. I developed the skills necessary to do well in High School as well as meaningful relationships with the people there. My favorite part was the athletic program. I played in most intramural and teams. I only wish that the school would be more serious about winning and invest more in this aspect during the competitions.
CAMS is a good school. It's a nice Christian/Adventist environment for us to be in. They let you have two options for at the end of the day. you can be in robotics, choir, orchestra, intermediate band, art, advanced band, bell choir, stem lab, study hall a, study hall b, IXL lab (aka torture), stuff like that. On mondays Wednesday, and friday you have on of these and on Tuesdays, Thursday, and fridays you have one of these. keep in mind that these aren't every day except for study hall. Also some such as art are hard to get into, because so many people wanna be in them. Art isn't great for those who want creative freedom though. There is one teacher everyone hates and isn't good at teaching math at all. Lunch is good though.
