I transferred to this school from a very large high school. The CA experience is so individualized and there are so many resources for success. COVID put a damper on the physical experience, and it made my only CA class in my senior year feel very much like high school. My online college classes were great, but I felt that the CA online classes reverted to a high school feel. Guidance and administration is wonderful on campus, a little hard to reach urgently online (especially in college application season). Regardless, if you get the chance to attend, go to CA! It's an experience unlike any other and you won't regret it.
I think College Academy is great! It was probably one of the best decisions I made so far in my life. College Academy isn't like any other high school here in Broward, probably because it's on an actual college campus. Here at College Academy you the freedom to do whatever and go wherever you want. You are allowed to make your schedules and choose your teachers, which isn't the case in many other high schools. You are treated as an adult, most professors that hear about the College Academy kids, they expect us to be the best of the best. Also, since we take college courses, we get to graduate with both our AA and high school diploma; knocking out two years of college. All in all, College Academy would be beneficial and a great experience for anyone who decides to go.
Broward college has a nice array of beautiful buildings and landscape. When you enter their clean refreshing learning environment, you just can't resist the urge to learn. I feel like everyone should attend a community college like this. My learning experience and interactions with staff & faculty! Highly recommended.
