It was definitely a different situation transitioning from a traditional high school setting to that of a college campus. However, it proved to be worth it in the end.
I've met many ambitious and creative people who encourage me to do better and to be better. The faculty and administration were extremely helpful and I managed to obtain my associates degree with my high school diploma!

My first year at CA was great! I really put in an effort to make friends and was rewarded with some that I'll have for a lifetime. There were always events and activities to participate in so I never got a chance to be bored. The CA teachers were very nice and understanding and the BC professors really gave me an insight into what college is really like. My senior year, however, was not necessarily the best year. The principal didn't really care for my class and didn't approve of a lot of events that happen in other high schools like Spirit Week and Senior Step Up Day, claiming that they were childish and that we came to CA to be more mature. Other than her though, we tried our best to make the year as fun as possible. I know some of the students that go there now and see that they are having those events that we did not so maybe she just needed a little more convincing over the years. Either way, don't let one person ruin your experience and stop you from getting your AA for FREE!
There's so many opportunities available at CA! My professors this year have been amazing, and they all really care about helping us succeed.
