CCTL is an amazing school that has provided me with the opportunity to receive my GED and Associate’s degree in five years. I think this school has changed people’s lives for the better by making college accessible to low income people. The teachers at this school are phenomenal and motivated to do their jobs. I think all the teachers at my school care for their students, and I learned valuable life lessons from each class. For example, I learned about mortgages, personal finance, credit institutions, and how the market system works. Additionally, I learned about the importance of recognizing personal biases, being open to innovative & different ideas, and disagreeing with people rationally. I gained satisfaction with reading, research, and learning about History, English, and Civics & Economics because of the teachers at my school. I think this is one of the best high school experiences in NC, and I recommend early college programs for everybody, it will change their lives.

I love the school. The teachers love to teach, the students actually care. It is awesome. I met my best friend there! The campus is fantastic and it is a great and slow transition into full college life.
CCTL is an amazing school and though the is challenging the environment created and fostered among the students and faculty is amazing and not something that is usually seen in other schools. Though there are most certainty odd one out, the majority of the staff is amazing both at their jobs and with students. At this school, students are given a huge leg up with the Associate's degree program and the friendships and connections they can make. Going to CCTL is an amazing opportunity.
