I really like cochranton because its such a small school that everybody has known each other since they were babies so there really is no bullies and serious fights, maybe a few tantrums here and there but nothing serious. Our one downfall is that our town population is so small that we don't have a separate school for the middle schoolers and upperclassmen occasionally share a hall with kids that are learning to test their limits in such a mature place.

I moved from a small school where I was bullied for being a male interested in cooking. I moved to this school and the students and staff were very accepting and supportive of my being a young make interested in a non-traditional career choice. Everyone is friendly with everyone, regardless of their interests-not clicky.
Hello, I'm am a CJSH alum. In my experience the school is alright. It is fairly good considering it is practically in the middle of nowhere but that, in a way, adds to its safety. The school really focuses on sports and academics. They also have an excellent marching band that has won several awards.
Overall CJSH is a good school. The student body is just short of 500 students, so if you are looking for a more personalized education this may be a good fit.
