Coastal Christian School was a fantastic school with outstanding staff and a positive student body. It is a Christian school that folds out doctrines into all subjects. The sports program is big enough to make all the sports competitive, but still allows everyone to pick up a new sport whenever they would like. They have really strong teachers who care about their students, an active ASB, and many community service opportunities. College reps often come to this school as well to entice the students in enrolling into their universities.
We had a very time at Coastal Christian with our 3 kids. We didn’t feel very welcome into the community and it wasn’t from lack of trying. The 4th grade reacher really didn’t want to teach that grade and she was really struggling which came out as constant frustration with her students. There was also several bully behaviors that were never felt with even though it was repetitive and brought to the administration level.
At the middle school level there was an awesome science teacher and the history teacher really knew his stuff, but unfortunately the wonderful English teacher left and she left big shoes to fill. I really don’t think you are getting a good education for your money not to mention religion was taught but loving others wasn’t.

I absolutely loved going to Coastal Christian School for the last thirteen years of my life. The teachers were amazing and I learned so much from them. I especially loved our English and math classes because the teachers engrained critical thinking and analytical skills into my mind, making a complex problem or situation into a solvable procedure. Although my school was very small, it allowed for classes to grow close together and to conquer school together. Its small size also helped the student-teacher relationships to flourish as well. I was also able to play volleyball and softball due to the small size. If I were at a public school, I would probably not have a chance to play either sport. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this school to anyone considering, especially since it is a Christian school.
