Clyde A Erwin High School was overall a good high school to attend. I enjoyed the diversity among the student body the most. It was really nice to be among such different people who contributed to the student body. I also enjoyed how the teachers put in so much effort to make sure their students were doing the best they could in the courses! One thing that I would like to see changed would be the lunch schedules, it is often difficult to sit and eat in the short time span. I often wish they would bring back past programs to replace the one they have now.

Erwin High's name is changing in the community. The new administration really cares about the students and with the Erwin Remind 101, we receive updates on clubs, colleges, scholarships, and meetings. Most students don't pay attention to the announcement so connecting us with technology is very helpful. We are also all provided with a personal laptop to take home and use in class. This has helped me drastically with completing essays and assignments. There has been drastic improvement the past year and I hope that they continue.
Clyde A Erwin High school is a average school. Resources and counselor support most definitely lacked but there were some teachers who did create a positive impact in my life. The counselors seemed to only focus on students who were considered to the in the top 5 percent in our class. Also the counselors lacked giving any scholarship advice and really any incentive on how someone could possibly afford to go to college. With Clyde A Erwin high school being located in an low income location, the aspect of talking about affording college is crucial.
