Clovis West has a warm welcoming atmosphere. The entire student body is full of school spirit. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure every student feels comfortable, safe, and included in all school events and activities. Students create and run activities to appeal to every student's need. Clovis West is a school where everyone is considered family. It's not perfect, just like most families, but it gives everyone a chance to be who they truly want to be with no judgement. The student body empowers each other to be our best selves, to get us ready for the next steps after high school. Attending Clovis West High School was an absolute gift. The teachers both challenged and supported their students through completion of the rigorous academic standards, the athletic coaches pushed their team to get better every single day while teaching valuable life lessons that will last far beyond participation the sport, and the administration showed a deep care for every student. I wouldn’t have wanted to go to high school anywhere else. Go eagles!
Clovis West was quite easily an experience to say the least. The majority of the teachers are kind, warm, and work hard to make the students feel included. Most of the faculty makes attempts to understand each individual. However the majority of the resources that we have access too are a bit harder to achieve without the aid of others, ie: teachers or other faculty members. There is quite a few opportunities that students can utilize to help them in future careers, and self-help methods. The counseling center tends to be a bit unwelcoming and students are assigned a counselor which could conflict with the students best interests, especially if their counselor is out on a meeting or not there that day.
