Clovis West is a very diverse high school with plenty of opportunities. It has many clubs and sports—overall a great school! The staff members are amazing and the majority of the teachers are great; however there could be some stronger teachers in certain departments. Additionally, there should be a greater variety of science classes that students could take that are more specific to future college majors. All in all, Clovis West High School is a great school that offers many extracurricular activities and higher learning.

The Clovis West High School experience is like shooting a dart in the dark. While some may have a great experience, others may not. The school is very stereotypical and the students come straight out of a high school comedy movie. At Clovis West, athletes and the athletics are prioritized over everything including studies and punishment. While performing arts and academic clubs are payed the least attention to and are given the least funding. Additionally athletes are often idolized and given special treatment by many of the staff.
The staff members are all very friendly and welcoming to their students and generally want their students to succeed. They do their very best to remember each and every student on campus. I feel like I am cared for at Clovis West. The classes provided are all with good fundamentals and have their challenges but fun. The teachers do help make learning more fun and entertaining. The school is very high achieving in many aspects, academics, sports and performing arts. The school culture is pretty positive and the students generally do care for one another. Clovis West provides the students with many resources and reaches out to obtain more to improve the learning environment.
