Clovis North High school prioritizes students who are able to fill out their high school resume to its brim. Competition drives the culture of the school as students seem to be expected to give maximum output in every possible facet of opportunity. Whether it is sports, academics, an extra curricular, or clubs; Clovis North incentives students to do as much as they can. This does pad out a students resume, but unfortunately gives them no general aim in perusing their interest. If a student knows they do not want to be in a field such as STEM, Clovis North still nudges students to have done every type of class possible to appear as a more fleshed out student. The faculty do not overuse the power given to them and are only troublesome to repeat offenders of school rules. Teachers vary from great to phoned in at times as some clearly wanted to be teaching a different subject than the one they are assigned to. Still, Clovis North provides a great opportunity for any looking for schools.

Clovis North is a prestigious, well-rounded, and inclusive school. I received an amazing education and I feel that I am ready to begin the next chapter in my life... college! I was involved in numerous clubs and I am a two-year varsity cheerleader. While cheering for various sporting events, I made unforgettable memories and friendships. The one change I would like to see, however, is a football stadium. Our school had to sacrifice a football stadium in order to fund the magnificent performing arts center; nonetheless, during football season we played at the Buchanan High School stadium for our home games. I have two younger siblings who will attend Clovis North in a few years and I would love to see them have a football stadium so they can enjoy an actual home game. But besides the stadium, no other changes are necessary. Overall Clovis North is a wonderful school, dedicated to its students. I wouldn't have traded my four years as a Bronco for anything.
Administration can be difficult. It is almost impossible for a student to be heard or make a difference at this school if they don’t have a parent working there. Our entire student body leadership team has a parent working at the school or higher up in the district. I seriously doubt that the elections for the student body leadership are real. This is a small problem, and I am very lucky to be at a school where our biggest problem is unfairness instead of something bigger like gun violence. However, it is still a problem and should be addressed. The facilities are amazing, as well as academics and college readiness
