I attended Clover Hill High School for 2 1/2 years and for the most part it was an adequate experience. While it is similar to every other high school in that there are cliques and there is bullying, the administration encourages kindness. There is an extreme difference in the course load for the C level, Honors, and AP courses, so much that there is a distinct division between those in each class and there is often no push for striving for a more difficult course load, as many students prefer comfort over college credit. The activities provided are basically student run, and there is a push for leadership that I admire. The facilities are new, the library is extensive, the population is diverse, and overall the school functions properly.
The last four years at Clover Hill High School have been an amazing experience particularly with the help and support of the students and staff. I find my classes rigorous, challenging, and there is never a day that I do not learn something new. The school spirit is alive within the halls of the Cavaliers whether we are cheering for the football team, golf team, or debate club!
