Clover is not a bad school. Let me start by saying that. The education quality itself is great and the sports teams are heavily focused on and rightfully so!

Now to point out some issues:

- The students are not happy with the atmosphere of the school. Being a student myself, I recall many times where I have felt ignored or lost to the ocean of faces in the school.
- The sports may be focused on a little too much. While Clover is very competitive, the students are not. Pep rallies are held all the time and nobody wants to go. People sign out or find excuses not to go to school because of pep rallies. The high school actually banned people from signing out on rally days, not that students listened.
- Something is wrong with the mental health atmosphere. Being fully upfront, a school should care about its students. If a student looks bothered, someone should ask what's wrong. Nobody does this. And sometimes it results in bad things happening to good people.

Overall, Clover High School is a wonderful school with many learning opportunities. Although, CHS is not perfect, teachers strive to help their students learn and grow. The reason I took of one star is because of the fact you are not fully prepared for the future. Counselors will come in to talk to classes about the future and how important it is, but don't really explain how to achieve the future. But focusing on the school aspects, you really learn a lot and there are always ways to receive extra help. The elective course are very good too. The choir program is one of the best in South Carolina and there are many CATE courses following career paths, including health science, education, and computing.
Clover High School has a wonderful group of teachers who always work to prepare students for the future. The teacher in each department work together to have lesson ready for the units and weeks. There is a constant positive work environment and we have top technology at our reach. Even during this time of change during E- learning the staff have made themselves available through email and conference time which has been very helpful. I always feel safe when at school and comfortable among my peers. Students are also able to express themselves in the awesome arts programs. Overall, Clover High School has been a great school and help me grow academically and athletically for the past four years.
