It's a very friendly and active environment. The teachers are a go-friend and classwork can be fun for once! Great campus too, very clean and simple.
Sports may not be entirely fun depending on the instructor, but you need to make fun to enjoy them, really.
They will make sure college is your priority, as long as you are willing to work with them on it.
You may need to bring some ear-plugs because the students can be really rowdy, some days. However, teachers will do what they can to keep that in check.

Unless you take AP level classes throughout your four years, you can expect to struggle and/or drop out of college. If you have high academic expectations or want to engage in extracurriculars without door-to-door sales, this school is probably not for you. Past administration have hurt the potential of this school. Standardized testing, poorly distributed funding, and underpaid teachers stunt the students and their ability to learn. Test scores are only high because AP students are forced to take end of course exams to skew the numbers. Which probably would not be an issue if the resulting increase in funding went back into the student life and not just the football team that has about as much professionalism as a wet blanket.
The academic quality is average -- a handful (7-8) of AP classes and no IB classes are offered and few students take them. Many of the high-performing students attend a "middle-college" program at the local community college, which leaves the school with few high-achieving academic performers and natural leaders. I have enjoyed my time at the school, though, because it is small, there is no overwhelming competitive atmosphere, and the teachers are competent and encouraging. Many of the classes I have taken were challenging and enjoyable, there's always something to do and be a part of there. Most importantly, I have always felt that the administration and staff want the best for and love me, and will work their tails off to help me accomplish my goals.
