Cleveland High School is an overall great school! The opportunities for extracurricular activities is overwhelming. The groups are very diverse, which helps to get to know so many new people. The choices for classes is very much the same, which makes sure that you get a well-rounded education, and gives you a variety of choices in electives.
The teachers are always willing to help and provide opportunities for the help you need. They are very invested in their students' success,
the school spirit is also a plus, homecoming as well as prom is a big deal, and allows for full school inclusion.

The only thing good was my counselor, that’s it. Some teachers care, some don’t care and others are just down right bad- kids there act crazy and lude. I dealt with severe migraines that would take me into a seizure like state and would cause me to shake and black out, so I missed days of school due to my health issues. One day my history teacher lectured me saying “Well, I know that sounds bad but- I still go to school with headaches too!” Worst school ever in my opinion. They don’t really care- some of the teachers do and like I said my counselor did! Some teachers will do everything for their students but most- most are bad or don’t care.
I had a mostly positive experience at CHS. My academics prepared me well for college. Math, Science, English, and History were well represented. My only complaint was a teacher I had my Senior year for Economics that pushed his political agenda quite harshly even laughing at me in class when I spoke my views on a current event. Students who shared the same thoughts were afraid to speak up.
I had a good athletic experience until my Junior year where there was a coaching disaster that greatly affected the team and I did not conitue my Senior year. That is hopefully remedied now.
My fine arts experience was average in orchestra. I was unable to keep up with my music during school since I began taking college courses early.
There is quite a bit of school spirit at Cleveland. Pep rallies are exciting and loud.
I do feel equipped for the college world. I have already completed 20 hours and have a 4.0. I am thankful for that part of my high school career.
