I love Clements High School and enjoyed my freshman year a lot. There are so many amazing things about the school including its kind and caring teachers and administration and the thoughtful students. The facilities like the gyms, tennis courts, commons, and football field are all very well taken care of. The school spirit of everyone on campus is outstanding! One of the only negatives that come to mind is the pressure on the students with their academics. The environment, though cheerful with all the friendships, is very competitive. I would wish that homework would not be as intense, or scheduling for tests and quizzes could be communicated between departments so that there isn't the pressure of studying for three tests that fall all on the same day. However, the rigorous courses make sure that students learn how to manage their time wisely and how to quickly absorb new information while being organized.
I’m a junior at Clements but i’ve been here since freshman year. I’ve had great experiences and i love the school. The academics are amazing and yes it’s hard sometimes but it’s worth it. Everyone also has a lot of school spirits and participates a lot, so it makes the environment really positive. The teachers are also very willing to help and they take their time when teaching, sometimes it’s fast paced but you get used to it. I’m very happy about going to Clements, I enjoy the school a lot. The clubs are very hands on too, and they really make an impact on our future. I’m glad of all the opportunities i’ve been given at Clements, and the opportunities i will continue to get! :)
Clements High School is a school where you don't leave a school day without learning something new. Every teacher cares about the students future and no one is afraid to help the power of learning. I have encountered teachers and students multiple times helping people they may not personally know, or don't teach. However, in my opinion some things do need to be changed. Clements is so focused on pushing information into the minds of students that they don't care to look at the past learning objectives. Many times I have not done so well on a quiz or test and the teachers ignore, and don't go over the material. So how would we know what we missed? Probably my only and biggest issue with Clements as a whole.
