The Clements environment is definitely special. In very few places can your scholarship be so well supported by a mostly caring and detail oriented staff and yet be drowned out by the pressures of an incredibly advanced and competitive student body. This is not to say that the students here are not friendly; in my experience, though competitive, Clements Rangers are in most cases helpful and form a bond with each other through their cohesive struggles. Clements High School provides some of the most challenging courses that prepares students for the rigor and workload of college, however the stresses of an overbearing academic culture can at times be overwhelming. Nevertheless, this system produces results as Clements High School remains one of the most highly functioning secondary schools in the state of Texas.

Overall I feel prepared to enter college because of my education at Clements. The teachers demand a high level of excellence, and although stressful, has forced me to perform greater than I ever could imagine. I am continually challenged and pushed as a student, which has allowed me to reach my full potential. The classes are taught like they were college classes, which allows me to feel prepared and secure about my ability to succeed in college. The building itself is starting to fall apart, but the passion and spirit that the students and teachers have for education is only getting stronger.
Clements is a very diverse school where everyone is very driven. This motivates other students to also do well, and most of the student help all of their friends do better, whether it be by studying together or providing tips. However, some of the teachers could teach better or provide more resources, since students often have to turn to classmates who have different teachers or they have to resort to learning off the internet. The administration is very good, but sometimes they don't listen to what the students have to say. For example, they quickly deal with issues such as bullying, but they don't accept that students hate the latest changes to the lunch schedule.
