Clear Springs High School is a great school that is full of diverse individuals. Teachers actually care about the students and their well-being. The staff constantly works with the students to make sure they get to their dream colleges. The one thing I find difficult about my school is the lack of "world experience". They don't really tell us how it's going to be out in the real world. They also don't give us classes, such as, Sex Ed. Education and learning about the steps to take to get to college and our dreams jobs are important, but so are social issues. It's as if they shelter us sometimes. Clear Springs, overall, is an amazing school. For a public school, it is pretty up-to-date with everything (technology, staff, etc.). Growing up and being from a poor background, Clear Springs High School gives me the opportunities I would have never had in Iowa. It is a school full of opportunities, learning how to take the bull by the horns, and giving life an actual purpose!

I loved my experience at Clear Springs High School! The teachers were very supportive of all of the students that they taught, and you could tell that they were passionate about the subjects that they were teaching! They were very honest, open, and created a safe space for all students, no matter the background. One thing that I would love to see change at Clear Springs High School is more opportunity, both academic and social, for people of color. It seemed like if you were a person of color, you were automatically an athlete or something of the equivalent. At a time in society when the existence of people of color are in danger, high school is the best place to begin seeking and reaching out for a sense of community. So, by organizing more clubs on campus that are specialized for people of color to come together and create that community and start students off on a productive foot.
I had an excellent time here! I made all my friends here and we talk everyday! This high school has changed me and made who I am today. The teacher were very inspirational and exited to teach and mold my mind. That fact that it ended broke my heart, because it was such a joy to get up in the morning and go to school. I am not a morning person but, getting up to go to this school made my whole day! My senior year was by far the best due to the fact I was senior and their prom, but the fact is I made it wil all of my friends by my side. It has been four years since I graduate and I still remember it like it was yesterday.
