This School was absolutely amazing. It offered flexibility and gave me more time at home since I was able to take half my classes in this school.
It was easy to navigate the website and communicate with teachers. The lessons offered were great and the selection of courses was excellent. You also do not have to be in constant communication with the teachers unless you need help, so learning by your own terms is no trouble. There is also no need to work a certain amount of hours every day, instead you must turn in at least one assignment per week.
I would highly recommend this school to anyone, even those who go still want to go to a brick school since you can take half of your classes there and half here.

I would absolutely not suggest you send your kids to do CVA. You will be better off with FLVS who will work with you . And offer customer service. There are only a few great teachers at this online virtual academy. One of the worst is absolutely Alicia Sanders, she is absolutely not a dependable teacher. She sabotages students progress .
The school I attend, Clay Virtual Academy, is a franchise of the online school, Florida Virtual School. We have our own teachers, principal, guidance counselors and support staff. The teachers are all great. They go above and beyond, because their jobs consist mainly of one-on-one contact with students. They share their personal interests and experiences with us, as it relates to our courses or our lives. They are very knowledgeable in the subjects they teach, and have plenty of resources to provide us when we need additional assistance. They communicate by email, texting and phone calls, and arrange in-person tutoring, when necessary. Grading is consistent, and students are provided rubrics for essays before exams. Even though this is a virtual school, I feel that I truly get to know my teachers and they get to know me.
