Clay-Chalkville is always being talked about in a negative way, but I have enjoyed my 4 years at CCHS so much. Many memories made that I will cherish forever! I participated in the band program and I would recommend everybody to do band and get involved! Clay-Chalkville provides a good learning environment with a great faculty! The teachers will spend their prep period helping you understand something that might not be clear at first and that is what make CCHS great! Mr. Lee is a great guy and great administrator! The moto "Every Student, Everyday" is very relevant when talking about CCHS because it is a great school that provides many classes to help decide what you want to do after High School and really prepares students for real life situations! Go Cougars!

Excellent high school experience overall. The teachers are very fair and willing to work with all students on an individual level if you just seek them out. The administration is very dedicated to providing an excellent environment. When problems arise, they attempt to address them immediately. There are academic courses for all levels. If you want to take challenging courses, they are available. I enjoyed playing sports at the high school. The school has a very successful sports program and the students, staff and community support the school sports.
Clay-Chalkville was something interesting to experience. I attended all four years and I can honestly say each year was different. We went under a lot of changes and from hearing from my younger friends, there are even more changes being made. Overall, my experience was around average. It’s a typical high school. Our classes weren’t too long nor too short and I learned a lot a long the way. One thing I would change about Clay-Chalkville would be to just stay consistent. It’s kind of frustrating to come back each year and you have something new to adjust to.
