Classical Preparatory School Reviews

I have two children attending. My son started in 1st grade, now in second. My daughter is in VPK. We love that the curriculum is very rigorous. In first grade my 6 year old’s book of the month to discuss was Homer’s The Odyssey. He is already writing cursive in second grade, and by the middle of first grade he knew the Greek alphabets in its entirety, and is now starting to learn Latin. I love how strict they are about personal development, along with academic.

I have been attending this school since my freshman year. So far the academics side to it is high level intensity and college ready. The teachers, faculty, and students are all extremely nice and welcoming. Since the high school is very small, the freshmen, sophmores, and juniors all get along like one crazy, large family. However, I would not recommend this school if you are looking at trying to get into sports or fine arts. It is still lacking some of the courses offered such as ap and sciences but has a plan to expand further.
Classical prep is a great school and gives its students a liberal arts education to make them ready for any field. The only thing that i would like to see them change would be to have a club for the math and science department.
