Clark Elementary School Reviews

1 review
We've had two children attend Clark, and have had great experiences there. The teachers are fiercely dedicated to their students, and the administration has been very responsive to any concerns that have arisen. One of Clark's greatest strengths (outside of its wonderful staff) is its incredibly diverse community. This past year, we held the first International Day, and had over 20 countries represented. That said, a reality at Clark is that many students are living in poverty, and the stresses that they experience at home can present themselves at school – it can be hard to sit and focus, for example, when you haven’t had to enough to eat. The upshot of this is that Clark is often the recipient of many amazing enriching opportunists – be it volunteers coming to help in the classroom, UVA students doing cool projects with the kids, or any number of amazing field trips. There were many times that I thought to myself over the years, “I can’t believe this is all free!”
