One of the most memorable factors about Clairemont Highschool is the several AP and Mesa college classes to choose from. I truly appreciate all of the opportunities we have to earn college credits by taking these classes and/or taking AP tests. I also learned to appreciate the electives our school has to offer. I found a deep connection with video production after taking the video media and broadcasting elective. As for what I'd like to see a change in, is school spirit and student-body positivity. In my opinion, enhancing student participation in events like pep rallies would make our school look more vibrant and thrilling.
I love going to Clairemont! Everyone is super nice and vey helpful. The campus is big and spread out and has many useful resources. We have a big athletic area for the many sports going on. As an athlete I feel that it’s really easy to sign up and get all the necessary paperwork to participate. We have a fairly small community with about 800 students. It’s pretty diverse, and easy to make friends. I think the academics is pretty standard but we do have a good business and medical academy. Would recommend going, you won’t regret it!
They have an academy system that is pretty cool. I'm in the engineering one. Unfortunately, they don't have very many high level classes, and the college classes are not well regulated. However, the sports and theater program are fantastic!
