City of Hialeah Educational Academy is the best, and most challenging charter high schools in Florida. I started the school in 6th grade and now I’m currently in my junior year. The school is very strict with its students. They school gives students free dual enrollment classes, which allows students to graduate not only with their high school diploma but with an associates degree. The uniform is pretty strict as well; White, or grey (for middle schoolers) Oxford shirts, or red, navy blue, or black depending on the academies you are enrolled in. That’s another thing, this school gives academy classes such as TV production and communication, firefighter, Police, and Nursing. These academies are suppose to lead students to whatever career choice they want.
I first stepped into City of Hialeah Educational Academy, COHEA, when I was in 6th grade and now I'm graduating as a senior. Throughout my years of being a student in this school, i learned a lot from teachers and make a lot of friends. Since the school isn't like the average high school that it typically huge both from the inside and out, you create a bond with all your classes that is indescribable. All faculties from middle to high school are all hands on when it comes to students and care profoundly about their students education and any problems they have. As a fellow student for many years, I can proudly say that I am very blessed and left speechless with my years at COHEA and wouldn't change it at all.
City of Hialeah has always gave me a home away from home. Teachers, administration, and staff care so much and try to give you the best high school experience. They make you feel like your not just a number. I am a student that my teachers know about and like knowing that teachers can watch my progress. They have many opportunities to be able to contribute to the community and it makes u feel like you make a difference in your community. My school has given me endless opportunities and gave me once in a lifetime chances. They have shaped me to the person I am today. I've also met many incredible people at my school that have made a huge impact on me.
