City Heights Preparatory Charter School Reviews

City Heights Prep is a small school which could be seen as a negative and a positive. Since the class size isn't very large students are able to develop closer relationships with their teachers. But, students don't get the opportunity to interact with different personalities because of that fact. The school has also made an effort to provide athletics over the years but there is still room for improvement. Teachers emphasize college readiness and students have adopted the mindset that they can go to college and succeed regardless of their current living circumstances. The highlight of CHP is the culture as the teachers and students alike enjoy each day they get to come to this great institution.

Even though the school is small, I really enjoy being there. As senior student in this school, I learned a lot about people who have different background, belief, and culture. Furthermore, the staffs are really friendly and you can just go to office and have a nice chat with them. More importantly, they listen. Every requests we make, the school listen and do it. For instance, the school took my class to California southern for college tour because we requested it. It really a one of a kind school.
