I liked the opportunities offered to the students to advance themselves in their area of interest. For example, I had the opportunity to complete a college credit-based medical terminology class! Overall, my academic experience here has been outstanding but a few things I would like to see change is the relationship between the students and teachers. For the most part, the teachers have amazing bonds with us and personally know each of us individually. Although there are a few things I feel the school as one whole could do better such as checking up on the students and making sure the school is the best fit for our abilities. Other than the lack of communication between principles and students... City High has given me a great experience.

I’m a senior at City High and I’ve been the since 2016. The my teachers are awesome and easy to understand and most of them traveled with use from Freshman year to Senior year! In all classes we discuss real world issues and evaluate it through literature, mathematics, world history, and etc. We have digital work and tech classes. We learn how to build our futures and accomplish our goals from day one. There’s a lot to say about CCHS, but most importantly it’s just a please where you can grow with your peers and teachers!
My high school was a great experience because it was located in downtown Pittsburgh and it was a charter school. The school it self was very professional it was a college prep school. You had to wear business casual clothes. Outside resources were giving like internships, service projects, action plan projects and many more. The school had a great variety of all kinds of race. The faculty and staff were all very welcoming and helpful when needed. You grew a well relationship with the teachers. At this school you had the same teachers from the time you entered until you graduated. I will say this school has helped me learn a lot about the real world and also getting prepared for what I face in college. I glad I choose to go here for my four years of high school it put me at a great advantage.
