Cimarron is such a great school & environment. The staff is super friendly and helpful to there students, they even offer extra hours for torturing & to retake assignments. They have amazing clubs & sports. They have robotics which is one of the best in the world. They also have fun clubs like student council, improv, choir, batteries included, & so much more I got to participate in over the years. They really create such a great learning environment, & there student council makes fun days to participate in. They do crazy assemblies, pep rallies, banana split day, fun dress up weeks, everything to make a school feel more like a party!

As being a graduate, and spending 4 years in this HS, it's safe to say that it wasn't the best but it isn't the worst. The teachers are a hit or miss, some really passionate about you passing and going with high grades and enjoys teaching said subject. Others, however, lack said passion and in fact slacked off and barely taught, essentially just giving a free grade for answer. The clubs were small, but devoted. They only lacked support from the administration as they heavily focus on Football and Robotics. The environment consisted of an average of ~10-15 people a day being sent to the Dean's Office for a variety of reasons. The bathrooms, while the janitorial staff tried their best, the students really mess it up themselves, hence why it's in a bad condition. Is it a fine place to just pass and graduate from? Yes. Can it get you into colleges? Maybe. Expect amazing memories from caring teachers, but also acknowledge how the staff prioritizes other subjects and sports.
I would like to see more consistency in the teaching staff. The quality of education in the Clark County School District needs to be improved as well. More funding allocated to educational tools and sports to help improve students' experiences. I like that the students come together and have a positive school spirit. I appreciated the opportunity to participate in the Special Olympics. I enjoyed playing on the sports teams, although my suggestion is to offer the same opportunities to female sports as male sports. My overall experience was enjoyable and knowledgeable as I am graduating one year early, I believe funding in any school always plays a major role in a students' high school experience.
