With two children in the high school now I can say that CHS has been an awesome experience for our family. It's small but not too small. It's academically challenging for our honors and AP students, but not grueling. It's fun in the ways teens are looking for, but with standards the way parents want (i.e. dress code standards even for social functions, school spirit is strong, but good character and sportsmanship is emphasized, music is encouraged, but without bad language, etc...)
Best of all for us, our kids are allowed to enjoy their childhoods. There is no social activism on this campus. They are free to be kids and not force-fed a social agenda.
They are CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS. For that I will be forever grateful.

Was treated like trash by the eighth grade teachers when attending. The only
fine teachers were the English teachers and the 8th grade math teacher when it came to core classes. The fact that “Christian” is in the name of this dump is shameful when other kids scream swear words at each other like angry monkeys. All the admins who did good for this “school” left and that’s what CHS is currently; a shell of its former self. Don’t send your child here if you care about their academics because it is not competitive at all. Most of the kids that attend are egotistical,self-centerd, and morally not Christian. They pressured two kids who were friends into fighting each other and insulted them if they didn’t fight. One of the kids got a permanent scar on their face because of it and the other got a bloody lip. Asian and African American kid who go to this school are usually bullied and called slurs as well, shame on this wannabe example of a Godly school

My children transferred to Christian in 8th and 10th grade and quickly became part of the Christian Unified community. The teachers really care about each student individually. The school is the perfect size as it's not so big that the students get lost in the system, but big enough that there are many AP and honors options, dual college courses, athletics teams, extracurricular activities, service opportunities and clubs to get involved in. Most importantly for our family, there is a strong emphasis on spiritual growth through meaningful chapels and Bible classes. My oldest is now a senior and she is ready for what's next as she was accepted to all four universities she applied to and is well prepared to succeed as she follows the path God has for her.
