There's a big problem with bullying and the staff does not address it until it's out of hand. There's been drugs being sold on school grounds to those as young as 11 y.o. The school is located in the middle of one the worst neighborhood's in the OKC metro for drugs and violence. The school goes off their own curriculum, it's not tested or reviewed by the State or any other entities. The building are in poor condition from water stains to broken stairs. A quick tour will have you wondering what the high tuition is for, certainly not towards the upkeep of the properties. They have the secondary students sign up for clubs, then do not offer the club! No supplies are provided through the school, including for classes like Music and art. Overall this is a highly overrated, mediocre "education" establishment.

The academic’s at Christian Heritage Academy are of poor-quality. The class schedule is limited in choices, all learning materials are Christian based, computer and technology education are deficient and trailing the public schools. Core subject assignments are expected to be completed at home, and the notebook mythology rigor is required in the classroom during school hours. The sports program is adequate; however, CHA doesn’t compete with 4A- 6A public schools and this program is limited on options, too. CHA has few clubs and activities. The campus has had some recent updates, but overall the buildings are old, space is restricted, and school equipment is outdated. Most teachers are kind and care for their students; however, it is a regular method for CHA to hire teachers to teach subjects they aren’t credentialed to teach. The cost of this private school doesn’t equate to the education received, and doesn't prepare their students for college.
CHA is WAY overrated. The academics are substandard and mediocre. The school requires countless hours of memorizing scripture, studying parables, viewing other Christian material, and attending 1-hour chapels 5 days a week during instructional time. Some subjects in the secondary level classes are taught by teachers who don't have degree's in the specific subjects they are teaching. This practice is not regulated by the state because it's a private institution. The school is in session half a day on Wednesday for teacher's planning time. This is more time loss in the classroom. CHA's course schedule is limited in choices and options. Their facilities and school equipment are substandard and, in some cases, outdated. The board, faculty, staff, parents, and students boast of this school to justify the cost of attending. Lastly, this school deals with all the same problems and issues as the public schools, so I’m not convinced the cost is worth the inadequate education.
