It’s a small school that creates a great sense of community. The student-body thus far all seem to be good kids with involved families. Our concern is the amount of turnover in leadership. Every year there is a change (sometimes multiple) changes in the principal or leadership of the academy. Some
of the Other issues that surround the school is a lack of business and financial acumen. The school “board” is essentially the church elders. While well intentioned I believe there is opportunity for a more business/academic minded approach to the running of the school. The teachers love the kids and the kids seem to love the school...so many great things happening at this school. Just a few administrative tweaks and this could be a wildly successful and special place that fosters Christianity and academic success.

I spent all four years of High School at Christian Community, its a great school with loving teachers and people who are willing to help with whatever you need and always try to lead you with a God first attitude and outlook. Along with having great coaches around the outstanding sports programs who lead their players on and off the field. My one issue I experienced while at the school was the amount of turnover not only in the teachers but administration as well.
Okay, as an alum of this place I would like to see some things change. It starts with leadership. Leadership is what makes you sink or swim. To me, the disciplinary actions were awful. Write-ups? Really? Like that's going to enforce the rules. Don't let the name of this school fool you. They are a Christian school in name only. If the school gets canceled for any reason on a game day, the game is still on. Their #1 priority is sports, not serving Christ. To me, if CCS is to be great, they need to clean house and get the right kind of leaders. If they do that, this school will thrive.
