CBA was a great experience, but you have to know what you're getting yourself into here. The culture of the school revolves around sports, as you'd expect; but sports are prioritized so heavily that pretty much everything else falls to the wayside. Occasionally, this includes education. The school's also not as "connected" and "brotherly" as they'd like you to believe, and it has a tendency to create new, absurd rules (such as banning all electronics in the cafeteria) in order to make it look like they're different, unique, and challenging. If you don't mind the occasional crummy teacher, heavy focus on athletics, and absurd tuition, then CBA is for you. (Also, if you have any interest in the arts at all, join Pegasus Productions. It's what got me through.)

Christian brothers Academy is a all boy LaSalian prep school with excellent academics, sports clubs, etc. There is something to do for everyone from Campus Ministry to Fencing Team, Latin Club to Model UN. You will be well prepared to start college when you graduate from CBA. GO COLTS!
CBA is a college prep school that takes boys and attempts to shape them into young men ready to dive head first into college or the real world. Although at first students like to hate the process of being at an all boy college prep school but it becomes evident how much a school like this prepares you not only for college but for the real world. Looking back at the school I would not want to go anywhere else as when I stepped into the college atmosphere I felt immediately ready to take on any challenges. Teachers do not spoon feed their students and expect the students to take responsibility into their own hands, that way to push students to their full potential. The school expects all students to behave like gentlemen and to be the best they possibly can be no if, and, or buts and holds all students accountable for their own actions dealing with no funny business. The school has a strict regiment but ultimately it is beneficial to the students, pushing all to be the best they can be.
