COVID-19 Update for Prospective Students and Families:
At Christian Academy of Knoxville, we believe in-person learning with a Christian teacher with a small class size is the very best learning environment for our students. It is our goal to have classes in person, with the CDC recommended safety precautions in place, as long as it is safe to do so. We also have the ability to take classes online when necessary.

I attended CAK for 13 years. If you wish to send your child here, be ready for the cliques to begin young and intensify as they get older. What your child did in kindergarten will be who they are forever. Sports are the school’s main priority, not God. I had some truly life changing teachers who I wouldn’t trade for the world. Saying that, if I had the chance to start all over I would have gone public. Why pay for people to be mean and bigoted when you can be around nice people for free? It distorts students prospective to what wealth and privilege are on a daily basis. CAK makes students and parents sign a contract that they believe LGBTQ+ marriage and those who identify as such are against the Bible and will kick students out or shame them for “professing the lifestyle”. Read the contract before you sign it, because that’s the attitude you’ll get. God loves everyone, not just rich, spoiled, and entitled people. Be kind, be better, and accept everyone like Christ would and does!
We have been at CAK since 2018-2019, and we love it!
*Character Development: CAK reminds children they have purpose and destiny. Children are taught about character development and morals, all in light of the Gospel.
*God's Word: Children learn the TRUTH about God's word, which ultimately affects identity. They view the child like a three legged stool: home, school, and church. Each piece working together - reiterating the same TRUTHS and building a critical foundation that will help them navigate life's challenges. Spiritual and moral formation is at the forefront. The curriculum aligns up with our Christian values as a family.
*Faculty/Staff: Loving, fun, and trustworthy positive role models. They address correction in love. Dealing with the "heart" of the issue not just the symptom/action.
* Allergies: Having a safe place where children with allergies can still have a safe and healthy meal! We love the SAGE app. and the way staff cares for all the details.

I have 2 children at CAK, one in elementary and one in middle. We have had an amazing experience! Our teachers and staff care about our children’s academic education, emotional well being and spiritual growth. Hearing a Christian worldview at home, church and school is building a solid foundation for my children’s future. My family enjoys the community with other families and the staff, as well as the many opportunities that our children have been afforded. From sports to musical theater and everywhere in between, they have been able to try many things that interest them. The size of the school is a primary reason we chose CAK. We know that our children are receiving the individual attention that will help them thrive. I cannot recommend our amazing school enough!
