We love CMASAS! Give CMASAS a try, even if it's for 1 course to test it out. Our daughter started CMASAS FT in her 2nd semester of 5th grade in Jan 2020. Ultimately, we were looking for an online school that would provide her the flexibility to study her 10-12hrs/wk enrichment programs; the ability to learn on her schedule 7 days/wk; & offer travel opportunities w/the school & personal. After a lot of research we chose CMASAS for the course personalization & flexibility. It takes time & simple communication to work w/ech PEC & instructor to get what you want for "your child and your lifestyle." Once the parents & the child gains their footing w/this way of learning, things do become easier. The key that I hope you keep in mind is patience & communication! Most wonderfully, our daughter has just entered 7th grade in less than 1 year, because of the flexible schedule and open communication that we have with all staff. They know our goals and personalize the courses to fit those goals.
I have been taking classes at CMASAS for three years and will be enrolling full-time for my senior year. I have found the staff to be responsive and supportive, and my teachers are consistently ready and willing to help provide suggestions or fill in any gaps in my understanding. A couple of times, I have asked for courses to be tailored to my skills or interests and my teachers have been extremely accommodating and helpful in devising individualized experiences. Since classes are asynchronous, I have been able to hold down a year-round part-time job throughout high school, as well as two volunteer jobs that a typical high school schedule would not have accommodated. I would highly recommend CMASAS to anyone who would value a well-rounded and balanced high school experience featuring scheduling flexibility, a challenging curriculum, and respectful, knowledgable teachers.
CMASAS gave me the greatest high school experience I could have asked for! The teachers and faculty work closely with the students to give them the best education they can, tailored to their specific learning needs as well as their interests. Without Mrs. Dolph I wouldn't have made it through my maths and sciences, and Dr. Radachy became somewhat of a mentor to me throughout high school. The course selection is phenomenal, and it's amazing getting to know other students from different parts of the world and completely opposite walks of life (I had an Olympic snowboarder in my homeroom one year). I'll always be doing my best to find ways to get involved with the school as an alumna, and I would definitely recommended CMASAS to anyone looking for a flexible online education.
