Overall my experience has been fairly great. The school is certainly not perfect but that can be said about everything. What I would truly like to see improve is its advancement opportunities, what I mean is if a student makes a mistake and falls behind one year but tries hard to bring themselves up another year I believe they should have the opportunity for advanced classes, many manytimes students who go through this loop are ignored I feel many students with potential may be overlooked I feel they should genuinely consider everyone for higher end classes, I've seen many who could do well in advanced classes but are not considered due to a drop in a grade a while back. If they pay more attention to this then it would be better for everyone.

An alumnus’ perspective...
I received a full academic scholarship and took almost all honors and ap courses. Loved all of my teachers and am sad that several have retired or switched to a school closer to home. If you just go there to learn and leave as soon as you can, it will just be a school with caring faculty. If you get involved, as most do, it can become a second home. Kinda wish there were a few more AP courses like Physics C, Chemistry, BC calculus, but my schedule was already packed and didn’t have room for another course.
Ive been at CTK on a 4 year Academic Scholarship. Im a Varsity Cheerleader and part of the National Honor Society. I absolutely LOVE this school. Super diverse, Excellent teachers! I truly will miss it here
