Christ the King has its positives and negatives just like any school. The school focuses on Catholic teachings and college readiness. The community felt 100% strong as a freshman, now I feel it's around 70-80%. The school is growing at a steady rate. The teachers here are wonderful, hard-working, and actually care about a student's well being and academics. However, I have found that a few faculty members lack trust in students and treat us to the point where some struggle to voice their opinions. Fortunately, they are interested in assisting the students with academics even after school. They work very hard to challenge the students. Catholic teaching is very strong. A large majority of the students participate in athletics. The variety of teams appear to have strong groups of individuals. I know the swim and cross-country teams here have shown success in what they do. The school lacks diversity and is primarily a white school who are mostly conservatives.

Christ the King Catholic High School is a growing community. It is a great school and provides a learning environment that promotes hard work and focus. CTK makes their students work for their goals and strive to be the best, not only in academics but sports, family life, and every other aspect of your life. Although CTK does have all of the above it needs to focus on some improvements. Some of these lie within the sports programs and how successful the different team are along with their coaches. It needs to focus on how much control they have over the students and the various rules that are unnecessary and annoying. Overall Christ the King Catholic High School is a great school and supports students wherever their journey brings them moving forward past high school.
Christ the King is an amazingly close community. It's a very small school, with about 300 students, so students can always have 1-on-1 conferences with teachers. The academics are good, the school's atmosphere is great, and students always have opportunities for clubs, athletics, service work, and additional awards and honors. CTK is dedicated to college readiness, and most of my classmates have already been accepted only halfway into senior year.
