While thinking about the ups and downs about Christ the King I realized that they're all related to the school being small. I first think of the good things that it brings. It's such a small community that there are many opportunities for you to go for. I'm in athletics, NHS, and student council, which all looks good on college applications. Also our school is known for science fair, although we are small every year multiple participants earn big scholarships and awards. The bad side of things include not having too many electives and class choices. It's just how it is, but overall I've had a great experience at this school. Also we have a senior trip to Rome, so that's cool.

Christ the King Cathedral School is a place of learning. Not only do we learn about God, but we have our academics. Our school has many different electives and sports. I personally enjoy CTK and couldn't ask for a better school.
I enjoy how the school attempts to constantly engage the students in various "new" events and decorates the hallways for open houses. I like how the area for high school students is held as a more revered area than other areas. Some of the best experiences happen in the hallways, between events and classes when students talk freely to each other about anything and everything. Students who attend this school are very close-knit after a fair amount of time, but as people change, so do the student's opinions of their peers. As they get older, their group of friends may begin to seem not-so-friendly, but because the school is so small, it is hard to find a new group who's values and opinions match your own.
