CCES is a very tight nit community. I love how everyone is so welcoming--- creating a wonderful atmosphere for a diverse group of students and faculty. I transferred to CCES my sophomore year and was immediately taken in as if I had been going their for year. I do think the population size can get a bit small at times, but I feel like the small student body provides more 1 on 1 attention between students and faculty and makes the school feel more like a home.

I am a CCES alumni and I loved my experience that I had at this school. I was fortunate enough to go here for 13 years. The teachers are amazing and caring. The opportunities for growth in the arts and athletics are extensive. It was such a loving community and the everyone worked very hard to make sure I was on path for success!
The teachers are always available after school for a minimum of 45 minutes during 'E period'. During this time, they are available to answer questions, work problems, and provide tutoring. Because of the small teacher:student ratio, teachers are able to become better acquainted with their students. They notice when a student is struggling/having a bad day.

Teachers are not only available for extra help, but also for emotional guidance if needed. The teachers each have their own style, so there's something that works for everyone. They also have amazing communication skills. For example, if they are unable to be available for E period one day, they let each class know and offer alternative times where they can be reached.
