I moved to Choudrant High School from another school and immediately began to notice a significant difference in the academic environment and staff. My teachers were concerned about me. I felt loved. I felt that I mattered to them. That I was not just another student to be herded through a process to the end of a year. Our principal and faculty made me feel that I was an important to the school. Every student matters at Choudrant. I believe this increases the self esteem of every student. This environment helped me believe in myself even more. I believe our student body is nurtured and because of this each member of the body tends to care about each other more. Of course, this sense of security leads to better school experiences and performances that lead directly to a better change of success in our lives.

Choudrant High School is a facility where school feels like home, where learning becomes fun and being involved in anything and everything is encouraged! I love the diversity Choudrant High School offers and the ability the teachers themselves better you not only as students but as young adults, something that they should take much pride in doing. The only thing I’d like to see change is the lunch menu. I’m a fanatic when it comes to food and I love to eat. Sometimes the food is off the chain good, but there are the rare occasions I just feel like skipping lunch altogether. The menu change would be the only thing I would like to see change at Choudrant High School.
Choudrant High School is a hard-working acedemic school, but there are few athletic opportunities. I would consider this school my family. Our acedemic abillities are high as well as our expectations. The school handles discipline very well. When some kids were being disrespectful to others, the kids were suspended and now our school has gone back to the wonderful friendly campus it was intended to be. I would recommend this school to other students. This year the school obtained 48 new students. When one of our senior students was diagnosed with brain cancer, the whole community became involved in fundraising. CHS is still raising funds not only for his treatment but for his family. We are a close community and a close school that cares not only about each other but their families. I could not think of a better place to go to school. We are more than friends, we are family!
