I loved my school. I desperately wish there was more funding for us to have things like personal laptops or iPads. It stunk having to share with the entire school and the laptops being pretty outdated. I loved my school atmosphere though. We supported each other. Every club or sports team really loved each other. We as students and our teachers hold so much pride in our school. It was a great place to be! The culture was positive and inclusive. We strived to build a great reputation and a lasting legacy.
Review Choctaw High School
It was just like any other high school. The good the is that people weren't really grouped from everyone else. People intermingled with other groups. The teachers we always nice, and besides the teacher and coach that slept with students, they were all professional. They need to put more focus on things other than football, though. Their basketball team, softball team, and band are all highly ranked, but the administration doesn't support them enough.
My overall experience at my high school is great! I have joined many clubs and have been apart of our school pom team, and I have made several friends along the way. I have learned a lot about responsibility and independence, and have improved my study habits and note-taking skills. I wish our school had more college and real-world preparation, because I am still a little unsure about certain things for my future. Luckily, I strive for success and am a hard working student, so I am still confident in my future with my college experience. This school is unique because of our school events that are provided by clubs and organizations, and I am very proud that I attend this school.
