Many amazing teachers! However, many financial resources are low; this causes lack of leadership roles and resources for students.

I will never forget the years I spent in high school. I had a blast, and I appreciate everything the school has ever done for me. They have an acceptional staff, with the majority of them being ready to help whenever a student is in need, even when it's not academic. The overall social environment is an amazing one. There are very few bullies, and the few bullies there are are rarely ever exalted. However, I do wish that there were harsher punishments for bullies. I also wish that there were more classes offered, and that some classes, although very few, need to be regulated on how much they actually teach. This being said, I do not think I would have had a better experience at any other public school, and will cherish these years forever.
As a student who has attended Chilhowie schools my entire life, Chilhowie High School is a disappointment. To be considered valuable in this school, you must either participate in a sport or come from a wealthy family. Teachers are a hit or miss, and you will either be completely satisfied and learn as you should, or disappointed because you learn just enough to barely pass the class. The school hardly has any diversity, which is understandable judging that the entire area has little to none. The administration shows obvious favoritism towards certain people in the student body. This school is all that is available to many students, and that's the only reason they attend.
