I love this school! Dr. Lee really engages with all 400 students that attend the school. All of the teachers are amazing, they have some of the best clubs on their campus. One of my favorite clubs on their campus is their Future Health Professionals club. They work with mannequins, and practice health care regulations. Childersburg High School also has some of the nicest student lounges, they're really comfy, and make learning so much more fun and engaging. If you're a parent looking for a school for your child, enroll them in Childersburg High School.
Everything I am about to tell you is the good, bad and the truth in my eyes of my four years at Childersburg High School. As a 2020 graduate, I am proud to call myself a Childersburg tiger. Although I've had some ups and downs. Childersburg High School is an atmosphere like no other. It is a very inclusive environment, where everyone is friends no matter what background they come from. From the bottom of my heart, Childersburg has helped me go through the motions of life. It humbles me, knowing that it is a small town with not only big dreams but big hearts. What I hated the most about Childersburg was that the administration cared more about the dress code more than our education. Since we started having all 7 classes in one day the teachers were trying to rush to get their lesson into one day and try to get the test within the next 3 days so they can plan to stay on track instead of taking their time and teaching us and preparing us for the AP test.
My experience at Childersburg High School has been a great experience for me. I have had the opportunity to apply to take college courses. The staff is willing to help you and achieve your goals. The only thing I would change is the school dress code, but other than that the school is awesome.
