Since freshman year to present day, which is my junior year, I would say that Chicago Academy is a good school. Chicago Academy is a good school because Chicago Academy focuses their attention on the students success. Every teacher makes sure the students are always putting in their best effort. The teachers make sure the students are putting in their best efforts by allowing students to come in during 'office hours' (which is when a student can have one to one interaction with a teacher outside of class when they need help understanding a certain topic). Now, moving on to the extra-curricular. This school sports wise is great. The coaches dedicate their time to students athletes making sure they are practicing well and hoping their student athletes are doing well in school. However, a change I would like to see is the more clubs being added/ created to the school. Chicago Academy lacks clubs which wouldn't get a lot of students involved in the school.

Chicago Academy High School has been a blessing to me as a transfer student my sophomore school. The school has not only prepared me as a student, but they have prepared me to be a better person as a whole. The classes challenge the students and allow them to have a growth mindset about achieving higher goals. As a student, I had the fear of not being prepared for college. Chicago Academy has made me feel more motivated and confident about college. My mindset has changed where I feel that I can conquer any of my fears and worries. Chicago Academy has one of the most diverse student bodies in the City of Chicago with many races such as hispanics, blacks, middle easterns, and whites. Fitting in will never be a problem at this school. The administration works very hard in keeping the community safe and the culture of the school alive. They also motivate and push us to have great attendance and grades with incentives if you met those requirements.
