Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School Reviews

1 review
I LOVED going to Junior High. The foreign language, english, and arts programs at Cheyenne are phenomenal. I learned life skills that I still carry with me today. Mr. Craig's parsing lessons will be ingrained into my head for all time. In eighth grade I had the opportunity to learn how to solder, polish, and saw metals in jewelry class. This is a chance few kids can say they've had. There are many sports and club opportunities but I'd argue that they are highly competitive. As a student, I was intimidated by tryouts, tests, and super-star athletes that were far more experienced than me. The downside of such a large school is the missed opportunities to try things when you don't meet standards or don't make the cut. The food when I when here was amazing. There were many options to choose from. The dress code here is terrible and sometimes the student culture can be negative, but other than that Cheyenne holds some of the fondest memories of my tween years.
