Cheverus High School Reviews
Rating 4.19 out of 5 125 reviews
Cheverus has an extremely welcoming community. As freshman students are given a classic Cheverus experience through the school's many traditions. School spirit comes alive for students at sporting events, productions of the arts, STEM competitions and more. There is truly something for everyone at Cheverus. The teachers care about their students and want to see them exceed. Students care about their education and the work that they put in to do well in school. At Cheverus, being smart isn't frowned upon, but supported. With under 400 students, the community is very tightly knit throughout all of the grades.
The teachers at Cheverus are not only brilliant, but care deeply about their students. I have been so grateful to learn from them over the years. Each one has inspired me in a different way and helped me to think for myself. Additionally, Cheverus has provided me with the resources to grow academically, intellectually, athletically, and spiritually. My leadership skills have grown tremendously as well. The students here are some of the kindest people you’ll meet and I am so grateful I have been able to attend the past four year of high school with them.
The academic rigor is very important to Cheverus. It can be hard at times but it’s definitely a great education. The religious aspect is a significant part of the school but is not overly forced upon anyone which is refreshing. Kids come from all different middle schools and towns making it easier to make friends. Athletics are very impressive especially in girls sports; hockey, field hockey, football, soccer, basket ball, etc.
