Chester Junior-Senior High School Is a small school in a very small town. Chester Highschool has some great teachers but there aren't as many opportunities or programs for the students. Even though we may not have many sports options or even a music program our science program is one of the best. Due to our location, we are able to get hands-on and adventure outside to do our research. Because we are so small we all know each other and treat each other as family. Being away from school for so long due to Covid-19 I, like many others, have realized how much we value our school! Dare To Be Great!!
Great, the campus is small and the average class size is too. I enjoyed going there because the teachers interacted well with the students. The staff and front office really cares about each one of us. Sports were also fun because everyone got an opportunity to play. Living in a small town and going to a small school has its benefits for sure!
Chester Junior-Senior High School is a tiny school in a rural area of North California. The nearest city is over an hour away. This leads to a small school with only about 200 students (grades 7-12). There is very little opportunity to excel, especially with only three Advanced Placement classes: AP English 11, AP English 12, and AP Environmental Science. The school tries hard to help its students, but it does not have enough money to support its student's needs. The school environment is excellent though. The school mainly focuses on sports, rather than academics. All in all, it is an average school.
