Chester County High School, what I presume, is as average as any other school. Chester County High is among the top rated schools in the region. The school's academic achievements are some of the highest in West Tennessee. Over all, I believe Chester County High is a exceptional school, however, there seems to be an issue with counselors. The counselors themselves do their jobs fine, but there are only two. They are always occupied obligations, and sometimes, students don't have them available for counseling. I would add more counselors, if not, a psychiatrist/therapist to the staff.
Overall, I consider my high school to be the greatest. Chester County High School lays a foundation of respect, honor, well-being, and determination to do better everyday. With an exceptional principal, an abundant group of hard-working and out-going faculty and staff, and all-around ambitious teachers, each student is made to feel worthy. This high school worked hard for me when I needed ACT help but could not afford an off-campus organization and when I needed volunteer hours for clubs, they gave me opportunities. This school sets students up for success and I am proud to be from Chester County High School.
I'm a junior at Chester County High and feel that it is an alright school. The phone rules are extremely strict, as is the dress code. You can look in the student handbook and see what I'm talking about... The food is very gross(but I didn't expect it to be good). The athletics are lacking(there's no track field). But the teachers are amazing and it is VERY easy to get a 4.0 here due to the lack of challenge. I have had no Homework in the 3 months i've attended. Which makes me worried that the students here arent prepared for college. But they have awesome programs here like nursing, welding, home EC. etc.
