I had really good teachers who have supported me and encouraged me to grow academically and personality-wise. But unfortunately, there weren't many classes offered that I felt challenged me enough or help prepare me for what I want to do in college. I would've liked to take more science and history classes but they only really offered the bare minimum of what we needed to graduate. This may have been because of the availability of dual enrollment, but some students might not have the opportunity to enroll in that should have the option of taking upper level classes.
Chester County High School is a very average school in most regards. The possibilities for this school are certainly there but the administration has failed at giving the students proper chances to excel more than the 'average' student. I'm saying this because our superintended does not believe in honors classes as he says that a mixed class is more beneficial for the less academically inclined.
The staff at Chester County high school make a point to connect to the students. I am excited to go to my classes every day. They are enjoyable and interesting. The teachers make it interesting. The cafeteria and janitor staff are very kind and caring. I definitely rate the school 10 out of 10!
