There's a lot of diversity at CSP and many opportunities to grow socially and academically, through clubs, content support, associations, and events that happen throughout the school year!
I like that it's a smaller school, and it allows the school to be tight-knit, and, for the most part, it is a safe, comfortable environment where you can be yourself. The education is great, and offers some advanced courses and opportunities, but there is a lack in extracurriculars. We have few sports teams, and nothing related to the arts. For example, there's no football team, no band, no theater.
I have gone to CSP since 6th grade. It is a very safe school. The behavior of the students is also really good. It is uncommon for fights to happen. The school is very diverse as well. There are some really good teachers.
My only complaint is the way they divide us up based on how good or bad you are at math. I would like to be able to take a harder math, but they don't even give me the option to. This also limits me when I want to take an AP. You can only take an AP if a teacher recommends you to. Otherwise you cannot take it.
We also have college classes we get to take which is nice. It is called the cohort program and you get discounted college classes at AACC to get your associates degree.
I will say, make sure you are pretty smart when going here. It is very competitive and the students are often comparing themselves to each other. They compare their GPA, classes, class rank, grades, and even scores on AP tests, PSAT and SAT. (also we are STEM focused, not arts/music focused)
