I loved the academics at Cherokee Trail Highschool, all of the teachers were efficient and great at their jobs. They always found a way to engage and connect with students and I think it showed in the test scores the school always received. What I did not like about Cherokee Trail is the administration and their relentless ability to catch students in categories that they shouldn't have wasted their time. For instance, we couldn't sit in our cars in the morning or at lunch without getting yelled at, and if we ignored the faculty members we were reprimanded and forced to politely acknowledge them. While this doesn't seem relevant on a large scale related to the school, it made a lot of the students uncomfortable, and allowed the real crime in the school to go unnoticed.

I really enjoyed my time at CTHS! Great school, both for academics and extra curricular activities. The staff goes above and beyond for their students! Made life-long friends from high school.
The faculty is amazing! I'm close with teacher's I've never had before, and they're always willing to lend a helping hand. Student's have a myriad of clubs to join, and can even create their own. The culture of the school had a shaky start, but with student involment and organizations, it has definitely seen much improvement.
