Cherokee Trail is the best high school. We just finished an awesome homecoming week and CT spirit was amazing. There are so many resources, so you never feel like you don't have anyone to talk to or feel like you can't get help, because you can. The teachers are so nice and they're actually good a getting the message across. They are even one of the schools that have an International Baccalaureate program (IB). They also offer AP, Honors, and CE courses, to challenge yourself. There are so many clubs and activities you can get involved in, there really is something for everyone. Everyone is able to go off campus during lunch and on our off periods. Cherokee Trail is in a really great school district in Colorado. CT is the place to be!
I really loved being involved in the school as a member of the championship poms team and being a spirit leader for the school. My favorite part of being involved with the dance team was performing and cheering at games and other events such as spirit bus. Many people got involved with the school through sports and clubs, and it was amazing to see everyone's involvement in the school and their school spirit! The student body at Cherokee Trail was amazing! The students were all so nice, supportive, and inclusive. I found it very easy to make friends at school because many people were so welcoming, friendly, and willing to meet new people. My teachers were great at helping me with any assistance I needed and making sure my needs were met so I could be successful. They were very supportive and I also got the same support from my peers.
My experience was wonderful for the most part! The atmosphere was absolutely comforting and I truly enjoyed spending time there. The friends that I made there are among the best people I have ever met. Nearly all of the teachers that I had the pleasure of being taught by were the best educators a student could ask for. Personal connections were more than possible and easy to be created. If there was something that I could change, I would encourage greater outreach for environmentally-friendly operations. While there may be a recycling club, few high schoolers attend this club. In order to increase the attendance, there should be more environmentally-conscious clubs created.
