Cherokee was a pretty average middle school for a mostly white, upper middle class area. The classes were good, depending on the teacher, there was plenty of terrible language (expletives through slurs) but I never witnessed any being used in a legitimately threatening way. There was a lot of emphasis on 'things will be harder in high school' to an unreasonable extent. There was also a lot of sheltering, teachers often lead students significantly more than they should have. Most students that didn't have the same 7th grade English teacher as me, still don't know how to properly write a basic MLA essay as juniors in high school.

The P.E teachers are way too rude they say they want respect but we don´t get much they pull students out of the gym and yell at them for the smallest mistake like not getting a good enough score on a test but why do we test on how strong people are like if I'm fat its going to be a lot harder to do push up´s, situps, etc. They make you feel not valued as a person and when you cry they don´t care for a fact when I found out I could do P.E online I sighed up so fast.
Really good a sports, good academics, and amazing staff. They have lots of opportunities. They have over 30 clubs. In all sports last year except 8th grade basketball they won all city.2017 8th grade is dominating going to go undefeated and will shine.
